Ever since I can remember I have always loved cooking and eating great food. Growing up in Devon I was surrounded by some of the best ingredients from fresh fish and seafood, fruits and vegetables from various pick your own farm shops and, of course, freshly made scones with clotted cream.
My first taste of work experience came from working in several restaurants, both front of house and in the kitchen but life took me down a different path.
I worked for many years for a global corporate company, in a completely different industry, but my role meant I was fortunate enough to experience dining at its best around the world. My love and interest in food never waned and now I feel extremely fortunate to fulfil my dreams through my business Scone Well.
